Your Bio

Photography has always been fun to me. It was never something I thought I would make a business out of because, well, I didn't know anything about it except the creative side of it. I didn't know what pixels meant and what cameras were decent. I thought the more expensive, the better; it was as simple as that to me. I saw someone with a Nikon and to be honest the only thing I liked was the shutter speed! I liked that it didn't take the camera 15 seconds to process what I just took because you always manage to miss something during the wait. And I obviously liked the crisp clean images! I always saw the DSLRs in the store and said I wanted one and sure enough I got a Nikon D40x as a gift! Like most photographers out there I started with my own children and friends and family but I started getting good, a little biased, yes.

I am a freelance photographer and do photography for children, graduates, parties, engagements, weddings, families and more. I prefer taking photos on location using nature as backdrops. This truly is my passion. My style is documentary and I mix it up. I do formal, candid and silly shots. Candid shots always turn out to be my personal favorite. I currently shoot with a Nikon D90 and a Nikon D40x.

A few more facts about me is that I work for Lockheed Martin full time on a Navy base and I am a veteran of the Air Force where I served as a cop (how I ended up on a Navy base is beyond me :)). I am originally from Kempton, Pennsylvania and was stationed in the Mojave desert in California for a couple years. I may only be 25 but I feel like I have a lot of life experiences! My personality in three (or four) words: sassy/witty, funny, and responsible.
